The St. Louis Auto Dealers Association is in its third year of sponsoring the "Buckle Up with BuckleBear!" program. The Association, a not-for-profit group of St. Louis' new car and truck dealers, offers program materials free of charge to local schools and daycare centers. In the 2002-03 school year, the program was conducted in 90 schools, which included almost 6,000 young boys and girls. The program is ongoing, enthusiastically bringing child passenger safety to area children and families.
